Myrivili works to build heat resilience in cities around the world. She is a senior fellow at Arsht-Rock and a member of the EU Mission Board for Adaptation at the European Commission. Her work on heat resilience in Athens established the city’s leadership in international urban climate change responses.

Lagos-based Oshinowo established the cmDesign Atelier in 2012. Her practice has designed a number of residential, commercial and civic projects, including the Maryland Mall. In 2017, she created the luxury furniture brand Ilé Ilà, which means “House of Lines” in her native Yoruba language. She is also curator of the 2023 Sharjah Architecture Triennial.

Matúš Vallo
Mayor of Bratislava
Prior to becoming the mayor of the Slovak capital in December 2018, Vallo was an architect and co-founder of the studio Vallo Sadovsky Architects. In 2021, he received the World Mayor Future Award from The City Mayors Foundation for his efforts to transform Bratislava into a greener city with high-quality public space. Vallo is also the bassist in Para, one of Slovakia’s most popular bands.
